Known for putting a smile on everyone’s face in the office, Dr. Joe is an EPIC husband, father and chiropractor. His passion shines through in everything he does but especially when working with children with neuro-developmental challenges. From the first day you meet Dr. Joe, you will feel like you’ve known him forever. Like most family members, Dr. Joe will always be there to support you in the best of times and also in times of challenge.
Dr. Joe grew up in Minnesota, which you will quickly tell from his non-southern accent! He graduated from The College of Saint Scholastica in 2010 with a B.S. where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Dr. Joe received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in the fall of 2014. He is an active member of Epic Pediatrics, the leading pediatric focused chiropractic community in the country. Dr. Joe is also a member of the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association (ICPA).
Outside of the office, Dr. Joe absolutely loves to play outside with his son Jordan, enjoy a bonfire with Dr. Brittany and study (Yes, you read that right!). When forced to be indoors, Dr. Joe is often researching articles on the nervous system and reviewing chapters in his favorite book, “Essential Neuroscience”. Dr. Joe’s favorite personal past times include - golfing, hunting and fishing.
Dr. Brittany first and foremost is an amazing wife and mother. As you begin to meet and know Dr. Brittany you will see and feel her natural ability to nurture and care for you and your children, just as she does for her own family.
Growing up in Botetourt County and surrounding areas, Dr. Brittany has always called Southwest Virginia her home. After graduating from Salem High School, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia before discovering her passion for Chiropractic. Dr. Brittany went on to attend Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. While at Northwestern, she cultivated a passion for prenatal and pediatric care. She expanded on this through hands-on seminars and an intensive year-and-a-half long certification program through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is a current member of the ICPA and is certified in the Webster Technique (designed specially for pregnant women).
Dr. Brittany enjoys being outside, lounging near the water, cooking, and spending time with her son, Jordan.
